As recovery from Hurricane Helene continues, landowners may be thinking about taking necessary steps to re-establish effective streamside buffers that were torn out in the storm.

***Please Note**** Any landowner wanting to do repair work within a floodplain may need to obtain a floodplain development permit or buffer authorization from the local jurisdiction (municipality or county).  It is strongly suggested that you contact your local storm water department before beginning any work.
